Several days of torrential rainfall led to dangerous flooding throughout southern Mexico, claiming the lives of at least 64 people and leaving entire neighborhoods underwater and families trapped in their homes. Overflowing rivers have destroyed roads, homes, and businesses in Veracruz, one of the hardest-hit regions. Thousands of people fled for higher ground and didn’t have access to food, clean water, or power. Operation Blessing was there—bringing help and hope to those hurting the most. Our disaster response team served hot meals to flood victims, and our mobile kitchen became a gathering place for hope and comfort to those who lost everything.
