Dawn Stark serves as Senior Director of Church Engagement, leading a team focused on building and strengthening strategic partnerships with churches and ministries. After joining Operation Blessing in 2019 as part of the philanthropy team, Dawn helped launch the organization’s Church Engagement initiative, creating new opportunities for churches to give, serve, and connect with humanitarian work in the U.S. and around the world.
Growing up as a pastor’s daughter and serving in local church ministry, Dawn saw firsthand the Church’s deep desire to care for people in need. Her passion for vulnerable populations became even more personal when international adoption transformed her own family. As a mother of five, including her own two internationally adopted children, she believes strongly in the power of the local church to bring practical help and lasting hope to communities around the world.
Dawn brings experience in fundraising, strategic communications, and humanitarian ministry to the her work in church engagement. She holds a master’s degree in International Community Development from Southeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in Government from Regent University. She is also a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
Currently, Dawn lives in Sarasota, Florida, with her husband, Tim, and their five young adult children.
